Pretzel Carousel’s school holiday guide

Pretzel Carousel’s school holiday guide

When it comes to entertaining the kids during the school holidays, Westfield Carousel have got you covered! We asked our fun loving Pretzel Carousel crew to share their top activities to do with the kids these April school holidays.

Get hunting

It’s not Easter time without an Easter hunt! Visit Concierge or the pop-up zone outside David Jones to collect your Easter hunt map. Follow the map to find each location and once you’ve collected all your stickers, head back to receive a special Easter treat. You can join in on the hunt on Thursday, 18 April and Saturday, 20 April from 11am to 2pm.

You can also meet everyone’s much loved bunny – Bugs Bunny who will be hopping around Carousel and giving away chocolatey treats during the Easter break. Wander over to the pop-up zone outside David Jones.

Wonder Park Immersive Zone

Get creative these school holidays as Carousel celebrates the release of Wonder Park at cinemas – a story about a magical amusement park that comes alive from a young girl’s imagination.

Join in activities like creating your own roller coaster carriage, build your own roller coaster course and test it out with marbles, knock down the chimpanzombies at the carnival stand, and take some happy snaps with your favourite Wonder Park characters.

The immersive zone is located near T2 and is open daily between 11am and 2pm until 26 April (excluding Good Friday and ANZAC Day).

Keen to check out this flick with the kids? Check movie session times for Hoyts Carousel.

Synergy Solar Challenge

Have you ever seen a solar powered car zoom? Until 24 April you can have a go at a solar powered model car built by Year 6 and 8 students as part of the Synergy Schools Solar Challenge. Try them out the front of Kmart during shopping hours.

Playworld at Carousel

The rooftop playground at Carousel will keep your little ones energised, and it’s the perfect opportunity for you to grab one of our delish pretzels and have a coffee break. Entry is free, however adult supervision is required. The play zone is open every day during shopping centre hours.

Have you visited Perth’s biggest Clip n’ Climb yet? The coolest place to hang out these school holidays for kids young and old is iPlay. Have a go at the fast drift dodgems, test your climbing abilities on the clip and climb, and go nuts with over 50 awesome arcade games and a café on site. You’ll find iPlay at Carousel’s rooftop dining area, open daily from 9am – 10pm.

Strike Bowling

It’s bowling but not like you know it! Here you can crank the karaoke, chill out in an escape room and kick back with fun for the whole family. Looking to host a party? The guys at Strike Bowling have a number of party packages to suit your needs. You can check them out at Carousel’s rooftop dining area, open daily from 10am – 11pm.

Holey Moley Golf Club

It’s the craziest round of golf you’ll ever play, with interesting pop culture holes to put your putting skills to the test. Fun for the kids during the day and even more fun for the adults at night, with a bar serving zany cocktails and live DJs spinning tunes. Holey Moley is located at Carousel’s rooftop dining area, open daily from 10am – 11pm.

While you’re visiting Carousel come by our pink pretzel palace and indulge in a pretzel or 2!

Have a great Easter break!
