Pretzel’s picks for school holiday fun at Whitford City

Term 1 done! The school holidays are officially in full swing and if you’re looking for something to do, then head on over to Westfield Whitford City. Not only will you find our crew pumping out gorg pretzels for your delight, but there’s lots of things to keep you entertained over the Easter break.

Our Whitfords Pretzel makers have given us the low down on what’s happening at Whitford City starting with:

Wonder Park Zone

Whitford City is celebrating the release of the much anticipated April holiday movie Wonder Park with a wonder week of fun! Delve into a lip smacking fairy floss forest, explore a 3 dimensional tunnel, get creative on a giant mural and more.

The Wonder Park Zone runs until Saturday, 20 April near Level 1 Centre Court. Keen to check out this fun family flick? Plan your outing and view the Whitford Event Cinemas session times.

Easter Egg Hunt at Whitford Event Cinemas

Speaking of movies, if you visit during the Easter long weekend and catch the first sessions of The Lego Movie 2, Dumbo or Wonder Park you can get involved with Easter themed activities including an Easter egg hunt. Nice one!

Follow the Easter trail

If one Easter egg hunt wasn’t enough, visit Concierge inside Whitford City to collect your Easter map. Follow the eggs to participating stores to get your stamps, and receive a special Whistler Easter treat once you’ve completed the map. The Easter hunt runs from Saturday 20 to Sunday 21 April only.

Whistler’s giant egg cracking extravaganza

Visit the dining hub from 11am on Saturday, 20 April to feast your eyes on a giant edible chocolate Easter egg. Our Pretzel crew will be there too to witness the Whistler chocolatiers crack the 100kg egg that stands a whopping 6 feet tall! Get in line for your piece of this chocolate delight and keep an eye out for the Easter bunny too.

Get crafty with local artist Peter Ryan

It’s time to get creative and have your masterpiece painted by local artist Peter Ryan. From 26-28 April, children have the opportunity to submit their own drawings inspired by the coast, which Peter will use to paint a community mural. Peter will paint the mural live so you can see your drawing come to life. It’s all happening on Level 1 in the Food Court.

And don’t forget to stop by Riot Art and Craft and Smiggle for all your school holiday craft supplies.

Live music in the dining hub

Every weekend until 28 April you can relax and unwind with live music on the main stage at the Whitford dining hub from 12.30pm – 3.30pm. Grab a pretzel from our pink container and kick back with good vibes all afternoon long.

So there you have it, aside from your regular dose of shopping at Whitford City, there’s plenty going on these April school holidays.

We’ll see you around!
