Auntie Anne's Comes to Sydney - But Can It Beat an Aussie Pretzel?

Updated: 5 days ago

Well, well, well. Look who’s rolled into town.

Auntie Anne’s - the American mega-chain with mall food court royalty status - has landed in Sydney. And listen, we’re not mad. We get it. Pretzels are damn delicious, and everyone deserves them. But while headlines scream about big American brands finally coming to our shores, the question we're asking is:

You know Australia’s already got pretzels, right?

Because down in Victoria and WA, we’ve been baking the goods fresh, rolling them by hand, and smothering them in your favourite pretzel toppings. No frozen dough. No off-the-plane products. Just bold, weird, wonderful pretzels made with actual personality.

We're not here to fight - we don't need to - just to remind you that the original Australian pretzel brand has been doing its thing long before the Americans touched down in Sydney. We believe in our product, thanks to many hardworking, dedicated pretzel-lovers.

Our fresh baked pretzels are the best in Australia
As a locally-owned business, Pretzel Australia believes that great products can't be massed produced.

Sydney, You're Next

We're not in Sydney yet, but the pink wave is coming.

And when it does? You'll smell it before you see it

Until then, if you're in Melbourne and had no idea we even existed - hi! We're Pretzel, and we're about to be your new obsession.

Find Us in VIC & WA

We're already rolling pretzels everyday in:

  • Melbourne: Ringwood, Doncaster, Wantirna South

  • WA: Whitfords, Karrinyup, Bentley, Cannington, Fremantle, Mandurah & Busselton

So if you're local, come try the best pretzel in Australia! If you're not, let us know where in Sydney you want fresh pretzels - Pretzel Parramatta? Maybe a bit too cheeky.

Look, honestly, no hate whatsoever. The more baked goods, the merrier. Just remember, there's a reason Australia is in our name.

We're excited to open a Pretzel in Sydney, we want to share our deliciousness!
